7 Things That Makes A Girl "Wife Material"

Proverbs 18 Vs 22

Am very concern about the alarming rate of failed marriages globally right now especially when it's now very rampant in my country. I would be sharing the secret behind a successful union. We all know that there are some distinctive attributes that makes a girl marriageable and all a man want is to find a good wife because He who finds a good wife as find a special thing and has obtained blessings from thy Lord.
There are basically three types of persons out there
1.There are those not ready for any commitments whatsoever
2.Those who May like to settle down but are not sure when
 3.Those who want to Marry

This write up is meant for those in the third category. I will write about the different categories of people in subsequent post. Some of These 7 distinctive characteristic are also applicable to the guys as it is to the girls and I will be listing them in order of preference and importance. Read and be bless

7 things a Guy Want From A Girl He Wants To Marry

1. A Girl That Is Born Again And Control By The Holy Spirit [Spirit Controlled]:
How often we ignore this very important attribute in our spouses. A born again Christian is someone that is filled with the love of God, someone the Holy Spirit can talk to, can direct, not just a church goer. Getting married to an unbeliever is more or less like you are getting married to a problem, to your doom. An unbeliever will always want to put Christianity aside and feels they are reasoning rationally, which often seems to be carnal reasoning. But a believer has the fear of God in him/her and always puts God first in all their doings. Also a believer will always respect their pastors whom will serves as a counselor anytime their marriage is heading to the rock. In 1992 Hilary Clinton marriage to president Bill Clinton the 42rd president of the United States was going was heading to the rock, the marriage was in the brisk of collapse because of President Bill Clinton infidelity, his sex scandal with White House intern Monica Lewinsky affected their marriage and Hilary Clinton later open up that she survived such dark time through pastoral counseling and prayers. Hilary Clinton is a known Methodist and her faith saved her in her time of trials and tribulations she forgave her husband because according to her she always read the story of the prodigal son in the Bible. Being a born again Christian entails us to always [everyday] read our Bible and know what God plans for us.

2. Must Be A Sister/Brother That Is Pursuing Destiny:
This is the second most important attribute, nobody wants a liability anymore. Gone are the days that the male are left with the sole responsibility of providing for all members of the family. A guy want a girl that is going somewhere Apart from your beauty what else can you offer. In today's world, people value assets not liability.

3.Must Be Find-able:
Do not hide behind those defensive walls you built because of heartbreaks. Not all guys are the same, some have no intentions to hurt you. They too might have their own share of heart breaks, you might need each other to heal. One of the ways to make yourself Find-able is by showing courtesy.

4. Willingness To Begin Small:
I know we all have that dream of our Prince Charming or that picture of a Mr Right, but you got to realize that this is real life not a Disney movie. Everyone want that rich dude that has already made his empire and is searching for his queen, we all want that good life you can't deny that we all humans after all, but recall that there is always a price to pay for everything , that's the law of Karma, you cannot eat your cake and have it back. Marrying an already made man does not guarantee a successful marriage, it does not guarantee your happiness in that marriage. Virtually all successful marriages started small, the young couple planned together and achieve their dreams together. Be content like our mothers were. Believe in your spouse, do not despise the vision of that young man, discuss his vision with him and align it with yours If not a criminal, what concerns a 25year old boy and a car worth 25million naira.

5. A Respectful Woman That is Submissive :
Lots of girls out there do not know what it takes to be married. Show respect and be submissive to your husband, this talk about gender equality should not get into your head, our African culture would not allow it, and the God did not create us equal, He made the man head, As my professor in school would say "God was partial in creation". The way you talk to a brother in church is the way you are going to talk to your future husband. Carry the spirit of humility and meekness

6.Be Hardworking:
A girl that is hardworking always pleases every man. A girl that can do house chores, basic things a wife needs to do. As a girl you should know how to clean, how to sweep, and most importantly how to cook good food, it is fondly said that, 'the way to a man's heart is through the stomach' Be a virtuous woman Proverbs 31vs 10 to 31

7. You Must Be Beautiful:
Often time this last piece of the puzzle is usually the first criterion most men look for, so you can see why some marriages fails. Men are move by what they see, being beautiful in this context does not mean all those packages that are trending nowadays. Boys that are into that or look for that in a girl just want her for fun, a one night stand maybe. Being beautiful here means decency, cuteness, neatness. All those makeup and make over are attracting the wrong set of boys in your life. Being beautiful does not also necessary mean being expensive, you can put on the most expensive accessories available to man and still look unattractive like Jezebel to the right man.

*Note - If your standard is too high for a guy and you want that relationship to work please reduce your standard, just bring it down a little.
I hope you read this and become fill with the spirit of  understanding to become a better person and be more prepared for your marriage life, because  you prepare FOR marriage you do not prepare IN marriage.

I will love to specially appreciate Pastor Tony Topore the General Overseer of Corel Ministry, AKA Jubilee Chapel, All these are his teachings God bless you sir.

Pastor Adeboye Speech That Made Pres. Buhari Sack Jim Obazee

The news that Jim Obazee the Chiarman of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRN) has been sack by President Buhari did not come to some of us like a shock because meddling in religious activities in a circular country like Nigeria will always get you in trouble

Mr Jim Obazee sees that it necessary for government to check and regulates religious activities in the country in other to safe guard public interest and wealth because to him churches and mosques are registered Non- Profit organization, therefore they have no business doing business.

But the meddling into the affairs of Churches did not go down well with some clergymen notable among them was the General Overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye who voice his disapproval during one of the annual ministers meetings were he stepped down as General Overseer of the church and attributes his decision to the policy of the federal government, prohibiting clergymen from being General Overseer for more than 20years. His speech has had thunderous effect, as barely a day after his speech the president had to sack the chairman of the Financial Reporting Council Of Nigeria (FRN) and the Federal Government later banned the said policy.

In his message the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, warned the Federal Government to stop meddling in church matters.

This is just as the renowned cleric advised the members of the church to register as card-carrying members of political parties.

Pastor Adeboye expressed worries over deliberate anti-Christian laws being churned out by the Federal Government to interfere in church affairs.
“The government has been showing increasing interest in church affairs. Unfortunately, for us in RCCG, it might not be very helpful,” Adeboye said.

He further accused the government of not allowing the church (RCCG) to continue with its stipulated lifetime 100 per cent salaries to its pensioners.

“For example, when I decided on what will be the pension of our pastors, what I decided is not done anywhere in the world. That somebody will retire and continue to earn full salaries all his lifetime.

“This, I started, but government stepped in and made a law that we should be contributing to pension fund.

“We have to obey and we started doing that. The result is that pastors don’t get as much as they were getting under our own previous arrangement. But, what can we do? We have to obey the law,” he disclosed.

Speaking further, Adeboye disclosed that other fresh laws had been enacted by the government to ruffle the feathers of the church in the country, with a particularly targeted at the RCCG.

According to him, “Now there are fresh laws. We have a rough idea of what the law is about.

“Some people believe that RCCG is becoming too influential and we’re going to be more influential. When you get home, tell members to join a political party.

“Join a party and become a card-carrying member of any party. Just join any party. We shall decide issues right from the ward level.

“If you are not active at ward level, you’ll do what they plan and say at the top. Enrol in any party of your choice and have a card.

“When holding meetings at ward level to choose delegates, be there.”

“One Muslim in Ibadan said years ago that he didn’t know what’s wrong with Christians; that we help them to occupy political positions and refused to capitalise on our population. That’s going to change from now,” Adeboye stated.

On the tenure of general overseers of religious bodies in the country, Pastor Adeboye disclosed that in the “new law that has been announced, they said that nobody can be overseer for more than certain number of years.

“And according to that law, people like me, Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor W. F. Kumuyi, Bishop Mike Okonkwo were already gone.”

Adeboye, thereafter presented Pastor Joseph O. Obayemi, as the new General Overseer of RCCG (Nigeria); Pastor Johnson Odesola as Secretary and Pastor Adeyokunnu as Treasurer of the mission.

Pastor Obayemi and Odesola were former Special Assistant to the General Overseer on Finance and Special Assistant on Administration and Personnel respectively.

Speaking further on the new law, Adeboye, while presenting the new appointees, said: “They also said we must have a secretary; they said we must have a treasurer too. So, I present to you, Pastor Obayemi, Pastor Odesola, and Pastor Adeyokunnu.

“As God will have it, the people have been prepared for the jobs for years. For instance, Pastor Obayemi has been in charge of the salary review committee for years and inland missions.

“He’s been our representative at the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for years, so, he’ll be doing what he’s been doing.”

Adeboye, who did not specifically announce his new position, said he has no problem performing his God-given role.

“About me, no problem. RCCG is in 192 nations of the world and the Overseer in Nigeria will not drive me out of the camp.

He won’t stop me from doing the Holy Ghost Services, and he won’t stop me from visiting you,” he said.

Adeboye joined RCCG in 1973 and was appointed the General Overseer in 1981, after the demise of Ondo-born founder of the church, Reverend Josiah Akindayomi.

Because I Am A Woman

I AM A WOMAN!!!
So what?
I get into an argument with a man, he slaps me, I feel the pain, yet they tell me I provoked him. I should have been quiet, I should have been patient. I should apologize to him.
I get into an argument with a man, I slap him, they tell me I have no respect, no home training. I should have been quiet, I should have been patient. I should apologize to him.
Because I am a woman, I don't have a right to be angry. So, the degree of my innocence is directly proportional to the degree of my silence in the face of oppression and brutality.....
Because I am a woman, my husband cheats on me, I am told to tolerate it to save my marriage. The barbaric and stupid excuse is that ''it is in their nature to cheat, I should slim down, dress better, cook better, pray harder and be more pleasant to him"
I cheat, and I am called a whore, I have committed an abomination, I have no right to look elsewhere for the love and emotional support I lack at home, I am an irresponsible mother.
So I am sent packing, from the home we both built, with all my earthly possessions stuffed into a tiny box on my head. I am henceforth forbidden from seeing my two older children, I'm lucky to be allowed to go with my little one still suckling on my left breast. Three years later, the little one is tagged a bastard. Now, my new name is "after-three", because I am a woman.
He is 28 and runs a company. He's tagged wonderful, hardworking, focused, career oriented, successful at a very young age.
I am 28 and I run a company " Hmmmm, she is not even married, unserious, can not order her priorities right, a hustler, loves money, let her go and get a husband oh"
And I wonder if being successful has anything to do with a person's gender.
Because I am a woman,
I am not allowed to have wits or be a prodigy, I cannot be financially buoyant, professionally successful or be treated with respect without a man beside me.
Then I am tagged a generous leg opener, "a runs girl". They never see the possibility that I actually had to go through ups and downs to get to where I am.
Because I am a woman.
A man loses his wife to death and remarries a year after, he did the right thing, he's being praised and congratulated for moving on, afterall life is for the living.
A woman loses her husband to death and remarries after 4yrs, "ahhh! so early? Are u sure she wasn't sleeping with that man even when her husband was alive? That was why she killed her husband. She's a witch! " Because she's a woman.
Because I am a woman, this post will be considered controversial, and everyone will try to correct me.
But don't forget, that I am a woman and it does not make me less human!!!

This thought provoking piece written by a friend of mine tries to show the woman's place in our society, it tells you the pain every strong woman passes through and why they are the unsung hero in every successful family
Very thought provoking ladies, a great piece!
BECAUSE I AM A WOMAN!!!

Federal Government Ban Specialise Universities From Offering Unauthorised Courses

The Federal Government has warned specialised universities in the country which have been running programmes that were “antithetical to their mandates ” to stop such with immediate effect .

The government therefore directed that such universities should stick to their core mandates for which they were set up “ and desist from running programmes which have no bearing to their names and foundation. ”

While describing as unfortunate a situation were Universities of Agriculture offer programmes in Law and Management courses such as Accounting , Banking and Finance, Business Administration, among others, the government said it was an aberration for some institutions to change the nomenclature of some of their courses to read, for instance, Banking Engineering , and Accounting Technology .

Consequently , the Minister of Education , Mallam Adamu Adamu , has directed the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board “to delete all such courses on its portal .”

All candidates desirous of sitting for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examination, the Minister advised , “ should not be hoodwinked into such programmes as they are illegal and are not provided for in JAMB brochure . ”

A statement issued by the spokesperson of JAMB , obtained by THE PUNCH on Sunday in Abuja, said specialised Universities are those set up to pursue specific courses and programmes to generate manpower in particular sectors of the economy.

He said , “Some of these specialised institutions include Universities such as Universities of Agriculture , Universities of Technologies , Universities of Medicine , amongst others.

“ The Federal government has observed that these institutions have derailed from their statutory responsibilities, thereby running programmes that are antithetical to their mandates . The government notes the unfortunate situation were Universities of Agriculture offer programmes in Law, Management courses such as Accounting , Banking and Finance, Business Administration, among others .

“ As if that was not enough , some institutions change the nomenclature of some of the courses to read for instance Banking Engineering, Accounting Technology , among other names . This is an aberration and should be stopped with immediate effect .”

Now That Governor Obaseki has Ban Revenue Collector: What Is The Way Forward

We all heard the message loud and clear during Governor Obaseki New Year's message to the people of Edo state Tagged: Message Of Hope
In that passionate but quality speech delivered by the governor, he prohibited the activities of private revenue collector in the state (usually called Agberos) that their activities were not backed constitutionally
What some Edo citizens might not know is that prior to that day, there has been lot of increased thuggery activities and rascality perpetrated by this so called agberos, among which were increased taxes fees of motorist by inducing unknown levies, Not remitting to the various institution that contracted them.
These and many more were some of the activities that became rampant immediately when the governor took oat of office.
The governor had to do something, when all option to curtail the excess of these individuals proves not to be successful, the governor had to arrest Mr Eriyo Osakpanwan AKA Mr Nomoreless
The arrest of Mr Nomoreless whom is regarded as one of the untouchables in the little Agbero kingdom sparked fear in their midst and showed the seriousness of governor Obaseki to check if necessary stop their activities.

But what has cause fear in the heart of many Edo citizen is the slogan that "Each Governor Comes With His Own Agbero". This slogan is now the acceptable norms that the Edo people has to live with because of the idea that revenue/taxes cannot be collected without the services of this so called Agberos.
So with the abolishment of the activities of private revenue collector by the present Godwin Obaseki Administration, many are scared that this should not be another tactics to change or recycle the individuals collecting tax. We are scare that it should not just be recycling of the process, a situation whereby the Governor empower new set of Agberos . Or recontracting new set of private revenue collector.
Our hope is that, the governor being a technocrat that we envisage him to be will carry out an overhauling of the whole system and device a technical way were government can collect revenue with the services of this Private Revenue Collector

With the few knowledge that I have, I will be suggesting my own micro way of how I think revenue should be collected in the state. My idea would not be perfect has it comes with his own challenges, afterall it is just an idea, but ideas can be improved upon.

MY OPINION
Within 3month of  the implementation of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) by the federal Government, President Buhari address the nation that  #2.2trn was realized by the government.  This itself shows how successful the TSA idea was, and such system of revenue collection should be adopted by states government

With such success of the TSA, one would wonder why that system is not introduce at the state and local government level, a system whereby tax payer or motorist in this case are coerced to visit banks or any assigned financial organization  and pay their taxes and are identified with a unique code and receipt which will empower such motorist with the right to work for a stipulate period of time. the least period of time motorish should be allowed to pay for should be 2weeks. because of the time that would be spent paying such amount and the dishonesty of motorist to pay such amount daily.
A kind of state task force should be inaugurated to check and authenticate the receipts and admnistered code given to fulfilling motorist, and the task force will police to airing motorist that would want to outsmart the system by not paying but working

This system of revenue collection will bring to an end the era where revenue is paid to individuals pocket before it will be remitted to the government, which leaves the government on the mercies of the private individual collector. But the system also comes with its own challenges, such as How can Market Women and hawkers queue up in banks or any authorize reputable institution to pay tax? with consistency and public sensitization, this would not be an issue
 And
like I said earlier " Ideas Can Be Improved Upon"

Governor Obaseki Bans Private Revenue Collectors

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has announced the immediate prohibition of private tax collectors in Edo state The governor said in a statewide broadcast to the people of the state in his New Year message that with effect from January 1, 2017, only employees of the state and local governments could collect taxes and levies in state. “I must quickly mention that one issue that continues to agitate Edo people is the lawless activities of some individuals who persist in harassing and extorting innocent citizens
under the guise of collecting taxes and levies. “The laws of our country vest the responsibility for collecting taxes exclusively on the three tiers of government, that is, federal, state and local governments. All arrangements to collect taxes or levies entered into by any state or local government agency in Edo State, ceases to be valid with effect from today,” he said. The governor urged all citizens not to heed to any form of intimidation from any quarters. It is common knowledge that thugs over the years had been
collecting taxes and levies on the streets of Benin, holding government and citizens hostage. Traders and businessmen have been victims of harassment by owners of companies through loyal party thugs registered by the state and local governments to collect such monies in the state for decades. But according to Obaseki, any person or group of persons being harassed by these “illegal nonentities” over tax should “call or alert law enforcement agencies if they find anyone involved in such nefarious activities.
His broadcast was entitled : “Message of Hope and Renewal.’’ The governor, while felicitating with the people, said he would never betray the confidence reposed in him by electing him governor on Sept. 28, 2016. “ I would like to use the occasion to express my profound gratitude and appreciation to you for overwhelmingly entrusting me with the responsibility to take charge and to steer the socio-economic and political destiny of our beloved state in the next four years. “ I am aware of the enormity of the trust and confidence you have reposed in me and by the grace of God Almighty, I will meet your expectations,’’ he said. Obaseki, who reviewed the socio-economic activities of 2016 and concluded that it was indeed harsh, however, exuded confidence that 2017 would be better for the people of the state. “As we reflect on 2016, we have every reason to be thankful to God Almighty for preserving us and our country; 2016 was a year of challenges, difficulties, excitements and opportunities.

The Platinium Award went to President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari

Despite the success of the ceremony its also came with lot of criticism. With some sport analysis uproar about the limited role given to ex footballers that are seen as role model for the young crop of footballers
Imagine a ceremony  the Award for the Best Player In Africa was presented to Riyad Mahrez by his role model Didier Drogba

John Mikel Obi has become the latest ex-Premier League star to move to the Chinese Super League after his transfer to Tianjin TEDA was confirmed on social media.

A picture was shared on Chinese website Webo of former Chelsea midfielder Mikel shaking hands with a Tianjin club official and holding the club's shirt.

Mikel, who had been frozen out of Chelsea's first team this season with N'Golo Kante, Nemanja Matic, Nathaniel Chalobah and Cesc Fabregas ahead in the pecking roder, will reportedly earn £140,000 a week.

The 29-year-old underwent a medical on Thursday as he prepared to become the second player to swap West London for the Far East, following Oscar who has signed for Shanghai SIPG.

The Nigerian international had held talks with Valencia, while Marseille and Inter Milan also showed interest.

Mikel spent 11 years at Stamford Bridge after controversially joining Chelsea, despite appearing at a Manchester United press conference and posing with a United shirt with his name on it.

He is understood to have signed a three-year deal, after a successful spell in England, winning the Champions League, two Premier League titles and four FA Cups.

He played in pre-season with Chelsea last summer but then left the squad to win an Olympic bronze medal with Nigeria in Rio and has not found a way back into Conte's plans since

Although Mikel left Chelsea on a free transfer, the deal of the transfer will make him become the highest paid footballer in Nigeria once again after he lost the spot to the Most Promising Footballer In Africa Kelechi Iheanacho    Read here: https://govmentboy.blogspot.com.ng/2016/09/highest-paid-footballer-in-nigeria.html
